Band Website home page

Daughter homepage

Content:
  • Music from album
  •  Picture of artist
  •  Album cover
  • The extra information and links are at the side

The theme colours stand out and are very visual and the blue is bright, but there isn't a lot of special detail its information is straight forward and they have the necessary things covered, with also the music from the latest album.
we see that the main focus is on the album since most of the information in view is about it. which means that the audiences view is on the album and of the music, not on the artist.

The Golden Filter Homepage

Content

  • link to watch the video
  • links are at the top
The main page is a thumbnail photo of the Music video, with the title of the Video and the Director and that band, this shows that their main focus is on the video itself since its their, The whole page is covered with the site and because of its size and the picture it gives of a dark and luxurious feel to it, the artists aren't shown at all and it only seems like they are promoting the video. but they are also promoting their album because of the soundtrack.

The XX Homepage

Content
  •   the album cover,
  •  information at the bottom links at the top.
The Bands insignia is the first thing that catches the viewers attention, this is also the album cover of the band so they promote their latest album too. the Page is full but is minimalistic with the links small and neatly placed above the X and under it, this minimalistic sense reflects on their target market of reformers who aren't status or care for image, but focus on sound that is why the band is simple in its design and not bombarding in their image.

Imagine dragons homepage

Content

  •  album art
  •  music
  •  links at the bottom
The Bands homepage is full and is covered by the album cover and the music from the album is linked into the art itself, for example pressing onto the pillars makes a song play.
this shows their promotion of their latest album and also, the links are out of view showing that they primarily want to make the viewer aware of the album.
